Google’s Guide to Current & Retired Ranking Systems
Google has published a new help document about the more “notable” ranking systems Google has deployed over the years. The help document is named ‘a guide to Google Search ranking systems’.
The document specifies that these are the ranking systems that are currently in use at Google Search. Google also provides a brief explanation of each search ranking system.
Google’s New Spam Policy: Policy Circumvention
Google has added a new spam policy called “Policy circumvention”.
Google said if you violate the new policy, Google may restrict or remove your content from showing up in search or for some search features.
Updated Disapprovals and Suspensions in D&V 360
Google has announced an update to “Disapprovals and suspensions” that provides more details about Display & Video 360 account suspension.
Partner accounts will also be suspended if advertisers within the partner have repeatedly or predominantly engaged in egregious policy violations.
New Photo Editing & Quizzes to YouTube Community Posts
YouTube is giving creators new tools to work with when publishing community posts by adding photo editing features and quizzes to the set of tools available to creators when crafting community posts.
The details were first published in a new video on YouTube’s Creator Insider channel. Community posts are social media-style updates available to YouTube channels with 500 subscribers or more.
